Tutoring Services
LCCC offers free tutoring to enrolled LCCC students in a variety of subjects. Individual face-to-face tutoring sessions last up to 60 minutes. Groups sessions last up to one hour. Most labs are open (walk-in), so no appointments are needed. Students are asked to come prepared with specific content questions. Smarthinking Online Tutoring is available 24/7 in many subject areas. All tutoring is free to students!
Goals of Tutoring
- To assist students improve their academic performance (skill building and knowledge).
- To help students develop self-confidence.
- To encourage students to become independent life-long learners.
- To help students develop appropriate study and time management skills.
